What kinds of Charlotte events book us?

Most of our dates in the Charlotte area are at breweries and taprooms. Gilde Brewery, The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Lost Worlds Brewing and Uwharrie Brewing all fit that pattern. Read how we run a taproom show on our brewery Oktoberfest page.

Clubs book us too. Verdict Ridge Country Club in Denver, NC, booked us for a Saturday evening in October 2025. Our country club page covers club events. A company in Charlotte booked our show for a corporate event in September 2024.

Our Charlotte dates run past the fall season. Bavarian Kitchen in Troutman booked us for Fasching in February 2026. Gilde Brewery booked us in April 2026 and for Founder's Day in May 2026.

What do you get with a three-piece band?

You get three players: Diane Fields on keys and vocals, Mike Fields on drums and sound, and Adam Bennett on clarinet, sax and vocals. All three of us play every show. Our sets mix polkas, waltzes, sing-alongs and American rock. Each hour has at least 45 minutes of music and a 15-minute break.

Every show has the Chicken Dance. Günther von Cluckenstein, our 8-foot inflatable chicken, joins some shows. Meet him on our Chicken Dance page.

What does a Charlotte venue need to provide?

We bring our own sound system, and Mike runs it. We add lighting when the event needs it. We need two outlets on one 20-amp circuit. We arrive about 2 hours before the start to load in, and load-out takes about 45 minutes. Three players fit a taproom corner, a beer garden tent or a stage.

How does booking work?

  1. Send your request. Give us the date, the city and the type of event.
  2. Get a quote and a contract. We send both to you.
  3. Hold your date. Return the signed contract and the deposit within 7 days. We confirm the date when both arrive.

Our guide to booking an Oktoberfest band lists the questions to ask any band. Our booking FAQ answers the rest.

How do I check open dates?

Open weekends show on our calendar. We play Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and our peak season runs August to October. If your date shows open, send us your request. The date is yours when the signed contract and the deposit arrive.
